TRAGEDY

I)
It was a cold and rainy day in a city far away
Mr. Jones got in his van ready to work
He was a pretty little guy almost bald and very shy
He was unemployed up to this day

He got a fancy coloured suit he was really in the mood
To sell his ice cream to all the kids in town
But his excitement turned to fear
and he was getting near of having second thoughts again

Bridge
What if no kids show up
The fridge would stop
And the ice cream turns to butter in the end

What should I do
I would be screwed
And then a voice appeared inside his head

Chorus
And it said no no no no no
It said no no no no no
It said no no no no no
It said let‘s make our way back home again

II)
He reached the city in a while on his face appeared a smile
He was gaining more confidence again
He was driving all around not long until he found
The perfect place for his van to stand

He was putting up the sign just the money on his mind
He would be earning on a sunny summerday
But then the rain was getting worse Mr. Jones began to curse
And the smile began to fade out of his face

Interlude
Mr. Jones sat alone in the dark just next to central park
Then suddenly the fridge did stop the melting ice cream ran out like a flood
He tried to escape cream glued the door Jones couldn‘t hold his breath no more
So he drowned in sugar and cream nobody could hear him scream
The next morning sunny saturday when all the kids went out to play
They saw the van they starved for cream but what dreadful scene they had to see
‘Cause in the night the fridge went on again and all the liquid iced the van
Mr. Jones was frozen deep and all the kids were moaning in the streets
